Ultra realistic paintings on the wall
Passing by these amazing 3D paintings will make you almost believe that there are real people standing by the wall. The paintings are made in such a way that you would probably try to touch the girl that’s leaning on the wall or maybe the old lady that’s resting, because they seem so realistic. The most surprising thing is that the artist is only using his bare hands and painting to make such tremendous art happen.
You will never think that these human bodies and faces aren’t real, amazing realistic and shocking sculptures.

who's the artist?
Aug 27, 2009Amazing art.. but they'd scare the bejeezus out of me in the middle of the night.
Aug 27, 2009Nice work:)
Aug 27, 2009That’s just a bunch of people standing in front of a wall :p
Aug 28, 2009Who is the artist?
Aug 28, 2009Why not just take a photograph?
Aug 29, 2009Thanks for the ‘old lady’ remark….sheesh
Aug 29, 2009I think the control of any art like this is incredible. the kind of thing that you see and almost dont believe after you walk away
Aug 29, 2009totally awesome
Aug 29, 2009these are amazing !!
Aug 29, 2009i bet he had a picture inside his head.

Aug 29, 2009WOW! That's fantastic!
Aug 29, 2009Cool. It would be creepy at night though…
Aug 29, 2009The artist should make a life-sized Godzilla in Tokyo.
Aug 29, 2009I think they are awesome. I prefer abstract art though
Aug 29, 2009Beautiful work but I am fairly certain that is a brush in his hand in the top image. Would be nice to give credit to the artist as well.
Aug 29, 2009Not only highly realistic but beautiful portraits in every way.
What kind of nonsense is posting these to your blog without even mentioning the artists name? I'd sure like to know.
Aug 29, 2009I don't want to speculate about the explanation of using bare hands though to me it means not air brushing. the artwork is truly touching and realistic.
Aug 29, 2009Who is the artist?
Aug 29, 2009Look at the first picture, in the lower right corner, right next to the artist, there’s a typical Banksy rat painted on the wall. Coincidence?
Aug 29, 2009I'm surprised the artist isn't mentioned even still. Maybe a tribute to Bansky.
Aug 29, 2009David Jon Kassan – a Brooklyn artist of the Hyper-realism school
Aug 29, 2009Thank you Anon! More great work at his website davidkassan.com
Aug 29, 2009This is amazing.
Aug 30, 2009I have the dress the woman in the second painting is wearing (!) – it’s from the Gap.
Aug 30, 2009every now and then somebody comes along and moves the target..well done man !
Aug 30, 2009Why spend the time to give props and not mention a name or any relevant information…journalism, who, what, when, where and why…gheez
Aug 31, 2009I would have like this a lot better if there wasn’t a pop up advertisement blocking the artist.
Sep 4, 2009Photographers are artists, too, to the comment above; different medium. A snapshot cannot get the scale-sorry. You would need a large format view camera I expect to get that and still there is something in the atmosphere of these paintings. After all, we are only looking at photos of these works!!
Sep 7, 2009I call them stunning as I see them here, especially comparing him to peers who are not catching all that he is giving. Thanks for posting, and I would love to know his name.
Oh to be so young and soooo talented. What a gift!

Dec 10, 2009The artist has an excellent grasp of light and dark to portray shadows make these seem very real from a distance. Excellent works.
