When mega blockbuster  “Avatar” mixes up with famous Hollywood movies then you can imagine some real fun. Human imagination has unlimited faces and pictures to capture and think about. Actual development of Avatar started from 1994, when Cameron started writing an 80 page script of the movie. The movie was supposed to release after Cameron’s 1997 movie “Titanic” , but according to the director the technology at that time was not yet available to portray his vision of work.

For light painting you need a digital camera with long exposure and 5 different types of light sources such as flashlights, light toys, torch, LED’s. Now you need to find a darkened room and partner to take the pictures. Now set your camera in such a way that it can take long exposure pictures, most digital cameras are capable of taking 8 seconds or longer exposure. This process is called “shutter priority” or “bulb setting”.

This set of images, where the Star Wars scenes appear so realistic, is called “StArt Wars”. The shooting of the photos happened in Dubai and is directed by photographer Cedric Delsaux from France. The project shows how Star Wars would look if it took place on the earth instead of the space.
