One of the rules of thumb of my life has always been, if you are still getting plastered after college, you have a major problem. And, you’ll probably amount to nothing whatsoever in life. After all, most people’s ‘growth process’ typically involves bonging beers in college and spending the next day puking in bed. But if you’re still doing it after college….loserville. Right?
Well, what do I know? There have been many people throughout history who managed to become very well known despite being complete drunkards. Some of them even managed to become highly successful despite their addiction. Below are some of the most well known booze hounds.
6.) Ulysses S. Grant – 18th President of the United States

Grant was one of the top Union generals during the Civil War, serving with great distinction at the Battles of Shiloh, Vicksburg, and Chattanooga.

They say that God sees all, and now all can see inside of his house. Well, at least inside of a fully see-through church in Belgium.
The artists who came up with this interesting idea are young Belgian architects Pieterjan Gijs and Arnout Van Vaerenbergh, collaborating under the name of Gijs Van Vaerenbergh.

This amazing series of drawings called “Illinois 4″ is probably one of the most detailed and punctilious works of art, as far as light painting goes. It was made by photographer Brian
Matthew Hart with the help of Dena Pickering. They made the art in one night in a dark attic.

Unless you’ve been living on Mars for the last 50 years, you’ve most likely seen a story or two about crop circles and their possibly extra terrestrial origin. That’s how people at NASA came up with the original idea to celebrate their milestones and contributions to the world by hiring a cornfield maze design company (these days you can hire a company to do pretty much anything) called “The MAiZE” to design seven mazes that depict significant dates and achievements of NASA.
