In warm summer nights mosquitos are hated and highly annoying, especially at night when they get attracted by the lights inside and around apartments. Well, that is exactly what happened on these billboards, except that these mosquitos are fake.

Yet they look real with all the blood that indicates that they crashed hard into the lightning glass of the billboards. The artistic twist about it is that the blood and the black crushed “mosquito bodies” are in such a harsh contrast to the smooth faces on the advertisement boards.

Some of them are the faces of famous actors like Nicole Kidman and Eva Longoria. Gustavo Sanabria was one of the first bystanders to witness these billboards and photograph them.

We spotted couple of these useless fliers on Josh Millard’s blog and we figured out to join the fun. All you need is paper, a printer and a bit of creativity to place the flier somewhere in the city, and that we’ll definitely put a smile on many faces.

Walking in the streets of Berlin you might have seen this piece of art on one of the fences, or maybe you haven’t? It can be hard to spot it because it’s “hidden” in a clever way. You have to stand in a special angle to view this black and white portrait because it’s invisible if you stare at the fence from the front.

The talented artist behind this work is Mentalgassi, and to create it he had to wheatpaste it on the side bars of this metal fence.

A lot of other street art can be seen in Berlin as well, like colorful graffitis of famous movie roles.
