10 Stunning Animal And Celebrity Lookalikes

Before we go on, I need to confess that I'm aware of how overdone this kind of article is. I've seen way more side-by-side comparisons of horses and Sarah Jessica Parker than I think anyone needs to in a lifetime. But, as the saying goes, “baby, seasons change, but people don't.” This is why we still come back for more, regardless of whether it's overplayed or not. The good part is that the world of celebrities is in constant changes, therefore helping new stardom aspiring people emerge from the masses on a regular basis. So, this is what I say: let's find some celebrity-animal lookalikes that are so stunning you'll begin to wonder why didn't the theory of evolution tie humanity with every animal, and just primates. I say that we should put an end to the age of horses and Sarah Jessica Parker and let others take the spotlight for once. This is serious business. These are 10 Stunning Animal And Celebrity Lookalikes.

1. Vladimir Putin

Celebrity Lookalikes - Putin And A Dog

On the right: Vladimir Putin. On the left: a very stern looking dog.

It's not easy being the leader of a powerhouse country, which used to, more or less, have absolute supremacy over most of the world. You have to face the daily responsibilities of a presidency and the mockery of the Internet. As funny as it may seem, this isn't the first time the Russian leader has lost a battle to the satire of social media, and surely it won't be the last either.

2. Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg And Kermit Are One Of The Most Common Celebrity Lookalikes

On the right: Snoop Dogg. On the left: a not so snoop dog.

Since I'm not really well versed in the matter of Snoop Dogg's whereabouts, I'd rather address the other side of the picture. Believe it or not, he is also a celebrity! His name is Kermit, and he is the beloved dog of YouTuber and Internet sensation Jenna Marbles, who became a viral sensation with her How To Trick People Into Thinking You're Attractive video. These days, she is also popular thanks to the relationship with her three dogs and, funnily so, the Snoop Dogg comparison is a long running gag in her fandom and one of the most common celebrity lookalikes.

3. Adolf Hitler

Celebrity Lookalikes We Never Thought Of: Hitler

On the right: Adolf Hitler. On the left: a cat that looks like a Looney Tunes villain.

Hitler isn't exactly joke material, and if he does somehow manage to become the subject of a good laugh, this is basically a one-way ticket to Hell, according to some. But, what will you do: someone found this cat, immediately thought of the infamous Nazi leader and shared it with the Internet as yet another of the many celebrity lookalikes. And being the way it is, it probably was busy for a very long time trying to determine the verisimilitude of the picture (I'm talking about the cat, I have zero doubts that Adolf Hitler actually existed).

4. John Travolta

Celebrity Lookalikes - John Travolta

On the right: John Travolta. On the left: literally the weirdest looking dog I've ever seen.

John Travolta has one of those faces that you would be able to recognize with a paper bag on both your and his head. He has a long career behind him, and a considerable number of iconic performances. And it seems that he went from swooning ladies everywhere with his role in Grease, to discovering his long lost canine brother. We're really happy for you, mister Travolta. Family is always important.

5. Donald Trump

Donald Trump Is A Common Target For Celebrity Lookalikes

On the right: Donald Trump. On the left: honestly, I don't even know.

Really, what is that? I'm not even talking about Trump's hair here, since it was the center of comparisons with literally everything from an ear of corn, to a troll doll. I think I know what happened to the thing on the left, though. It probably was once an animal, but it couldn't bear living so secluded from the Republican candidate, so it turned itself into a wig. This way, it hopes it'll be able to occupy his head and live happily ever after.

6. Taylor Lautner

The Most Popular Of Celebrity Lookalikes - Taylor Lautner/Alpaca

On the right: Taylor Lautner. On the left: an alpaca (because they are aesthetically different from llamas).

There is no better time to make fun of a celebrity than when they are at the peak of their stardom. But that doesn't mean we're too shy to do it even when the flame doesn't burn so brightly anymore. The Taylor Lautner – alpaca pair up is almost as old as Sarah Jessica Parker and horses, so for the sake of nostalgia, we decided to include it too.

7. Snoop Dogg 2.0

Celebrity Lookalikes Meet Snoop Dogg Once Again

On the right: Snoop Dogg again. On the left: I think I understand why the “dogg” part of the name.

What is it about Snoop Dogg's face that's so easy to find in the complexion of various mammals? He seems to be the center of most celebrity lookalikes situations. No offense brought to anyone, though. I'm sure he's a decent guy, and the dog on the left looks like it's having the time of its life, so let's bring this topic to a halt.

8. Dalai Lama

Dalai Lama - Celebrity Lookalikes

On the right: Dalai Lama. On the left: ironically, a llama.

I don't think this is what the Tibetans expected when they forged two words with a profound meaning into the famous “Dalai Lama” title. The word “lama” actually has nothing to do with the friendly fellow in the picture, and instead it's an equivalent of the Sanskrit word that means “guru.” Since beggars can't be choosers, let's just ignore all of this factual information and pretend it has something to do with actual llamas. We'll just say that it's further proof that Tenzin Gyatso was born to be the 14th Dalai Lama.

9. Adrien Brody

Celebrity Lookalikes - Adrien Brody

On the right: Adrien Brody. On the left: a monkey.

We're nine spots into this list, but forgot to ask ourselves one important question: are we going to say that the animal looks like the celebrity or that it is the other way around? Either way, for this particular case, let's just say that it's the monkey that has this honor. After all, Adrien Brody's appearance is unique enough to be rare to find among other humans, let alone in the animal world, making one of the most memorable celebrity lookalikes.

10. Harrison Ford

Celebrity Lookalikes Even Affect Harrison Ford

On the right: Harrison. On the left: a very cheeky looking golden retriever.

The first thing that came to my head when I saw this picture was: how amazing would a Star Wars reenactment just with dogs be? This comparison is fit to end this list, since it seems like it benefits both sides of the picture. Harrison Ford is a handsome man, the dog is adorable, and should some brilliant mind decide to make Bark Wars, it seems like they've found their canine Han Solo.

Which one was your favorite celebrity equivalent in the animal world? Let me just tell you, there were much more offensive picks that could have been included, but we figured the world is tough enough as it is. We don't need to add wood to the fire by pointlessly making fun of animals. I mean, people. Anyway, these were 10 Stunning Animal And Celebrity Lookalikes. Don't sue us.

The Extinct Animals You Would Love to See Alive

What extinct animal would you most like to see alive and kicking in modern times?

Over the years the world has lost some glorious creatures and some scary ones as well. Here are some of the best ones we´ll never get to see.

The Dodo

Extinct Animals and the Dodo

Most of us immediately think of the flightless bird known as the Dodo when we think about extinct creatures. They lived on the island of Mauritius and while we know little about them, they appear to have been about a meter tall. European sailors first saw Dodos in 1598 and just over 60 years later there were none left. They were used by islanders as pets and who wouldn´t one of these cheerful birds wandering about their yard?

The Saber Toothed Cat

Extinct Animals and the Saber Toothed Cat

There are a few different animals that have been known as Saber Toothed Cats, with the impressive Smilodon the most well known. You wouldn´t want to bump into this toothy predator in the wild but taking a selfie with him from a safe distance would have been cool. He lived in North and South America and killed all sorts of different types of prey.

The Mammoth

Extinct Animals and the Mammoth

There are a few different types of Mammoth that once made the Earth tremble under their giant frames. The Woolly Mammoth and the American Mastodon are good examples of these elephant type beasts, while some weren´t as big as you might think. The end of the ice age is given as one reason why they probably died out although there is still hope that we´ll find some more frozen ones in Siberia we can clone or bring back to life just like Walt Disney. Isn´t there?

The Tasmanian Tiger

Extinct Animals and the Tasmanian Tiger

All of the tales of extinct animals around the world are sad but some hit home harder than others. That is definitely the case with the Tasmanian Tiger. The arrival of Europeans led to its downfall, with the final creatures dying out in the 1930s. Some people still cling on to the hope that some Tasmanian Tigers exist in remote areas, with fabulous rewards being offered in the past for capturing one. Scientists also plan to produce new animals using the DNA of dead specimens.

The Gigantopithecus

Extinct Animals and the Gigantopithecus

This big fellow isn´t as well known as some of the other extinct animals we have looked at but he was a beauty. This was a giant ape who lived in Asia. The race died out about 100,000 years ago and they were the biggest apes ever to live on our planet. They measured up to 3 meters (almost 10 ft) tall. The lack of a full skeleton ever being found means that we don´t even know how the Gigantopithecus got around; on all fours or walking upright.

The Atlas Bear

Extinct Animals and the Atlas Bear

Africa´s only native bear in recent times is believed to be extinct. Yes, there is a small, flickering hope that some Atlas Bears moved from the Atlas Mountains across to Eastern Africa. However, the general consensus is that man killed off this large beast. The expansion of the Roman Empire into North Africa and the introduction of modern firearms are said to have contributed to their downfall. The Romans were especially damaging to the Atlas Bear, hunting it to use in their Gladiator shows. It eventually died out completely towards the end of the 19th century.

8. The Patagonian Mara

In terms of weird cute animals, it doesn’t get that much better than the Patagonian Mara, a relatively large rodent, part of the mara family. They also call it Patagonian cavy, Patagonian hare, or dillaby. It kind of looks like a rabbit and it lives in Argentina, including, of cours Patagonia. An interesting thing about this species is that it’s monogamous.

7. The Irrawaddy Dolphin

You can find this item on our list of weird cute animals in the Bay of Bengal, as well as in other parts of Southeast Asia. It swims rather slowly, i.e. at around 20 to 25 km per hour, but can speed up when chased by a boat. Another interesting thing about it is that it competes with other species, as observed in experiments involving the Orcaella and the humpback dolphin.

6. The Mexican Axolotls

This animal is also known as the Peter Pan of animals. Just look at it, how can this not be considered cute? This type of salamander looks like it is always smiling. It can be found in Mexico's Lake Xochimilco, and it spends most of its time underwater. Its unusual appearance comes from its ability to regenerate body parts.

5. Amur Leopards

Leopards are universally considered cute, but the Amur leopard is undoubtedly the most beautiful leopard on the planet. Sadly, this animal, native to southeastern Russia is on the brink of extinction. Only 19 to 26 specimens are left in the wild. The Amur leopard is also known under the name of Manchurian, Far East or Korean leopard.

4. Sand Cats

Are you familiar with the smallest wild cats on the planet? The sand-cats have the size of domestic cats and they can be found in northern Africa and central Asia. They enjoy arid locations, but their habitats are being threatened. Although this animal species is endangered, four sand cat kittens have just been born in the Zoological Center of Tel Aviv.

3. The Superb Bird of Paradise

With a name like this and such lavish colors, how could we not have included the superb bird of paradise on our list? It lives in the rainforests of New Guinea, it’s relatively small (only 26 cm), and, interestingly enough, there’s a pretty low count of females in the species.

2. The Gobi Jerboa

This rodent lives in China and Mongolia, in the temperate deserts and grasslands of the area. It was discovered in 1925. It’s considered the most desert loving of all Jerboas, but it’s extremely rare. For the moment, only 163 sightings of the Gobi jerboa have been made (in contemporary times). However, the actual number of specimens remains unknown.

1. The Fennec Fox

We couldn’t have topped off our list of weird cute animals with anyone else but the absolutely adorable fennec fox (known simply as the fennec). It’s a nocturnal animal, very small, but with those hilariously huge ears, which they use to fan off the heat. Makes sense, when you consider the fact that it lives in Sahara and northern Africa.

15 Adorable Animals that Forgot How to Animal

Pets are incredible to have around. Sure, their fur falls off, they might break your things or even lick the butter, but nothing compares with their sincere happy faces when you come home. Companionship is essential for humans, but we run such hectic lives that we can’t always be socially active. It is amazing when you have a true buddy that eagerly expects you to return from work, and does not question you about your mistakes. Nevertheless, there are moments when pets prove smarter than we might think. Today we would like to share with you a few animals that forgot how to animal. While some photos are coincidental, the others are of animals that were trained to do the trick.

It is common knowledge that a pet will pick up the behavioral patterns of his owner, so could it be that these little guys were simply trying to fit in the everyday life of their owners? Let’s take a look at the funniest images:

Before you begin to panic you should know that this is nothing but a trick shot. The dog isn’t actually operating the construction tool. Still, it’s funny to see him on it.

4.     Well Hello there, do you come here often?

This is one of the best shots I have ever seen of a dog on a swing. Just look at him. He’s minding his own business, chilling, and checking out cute gals. He doesn’t seem at all distressed at the idea that his owners put him on the swing.

5.     A Night Out

The first question that came to my mind was how the dog was allowed in the bar. Then I couldn’t get passed the funny situation. The dog looks so relaxed and happy with his glass of wine and cigarettes.
