They say that God sees all, and now all can see inside of his house. Well, at least inside of a fully see-through church in Belgium.

The artists who came up with this interesting idea are young Belgian architects Pieterjan Gijs and Arnout Van Vaerenbergh, collaborating under the name of Gijs Van Vaerenbergh.

The project, called “Reading between the lines,” is a church located in Borgloon, Belgium, made out of horizontal plates stacked on top of each other in a manner that makes the whole object completely see-through.

It doesn’t represent a church in a classical way, since its function is not yet defined, but it is quite a visual experiment and a reflection on the potential artistic reuse of vacant churches in that area.

This is not the first church-related project that these two architects have worked on. They also made an upside-down dome inside of the St Michiel Church in Leuven.

For more weird looking buildings, check out this.

Architect Frank Gehry is the man behind this amazing building that is the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. From far away some of the building’s steel walls look like they have melted in the sun because they are bending in all directions. The huge complex consists of two parts: the one that looks weird where the walls flow free, and the other that looks like any other building – built straight.

There has been said that the parts represent the left and the right brain part where one is decent and the other is creative and crazy. The project has cost $100 million and it’s definitely shown in the detailed architecture.

Weird and eye cathing buildings can be found in a lot of places, like for example in Germany this upside down house is popular and it has attracted a lot of visitors.

Inside you can find a bathroom, a kitchen, interior lighting, a bed and several niches for storage, and like that wasn’t enough the nose can be opened automatically and is serving as a kind of porch. It can also be used as an office, guestroom or garden house. A lot of stadiums around the world have spectacular designs, like the new World Cup 2010 stadiums in South Africa. Stadiums give pride to the countries where they are located. Yet there are some stadiums where architects have failed and there are some very clever adaptations to the surrounding landscape and that makes them kinda weird.
