Want to know the truth about why celebrities have Twitter? 17-year-old Mexican artist “L0kii” explains it for us in this delightfully irreverent comic strip. Do you agree with the strip that celebrities only use twitter to expand their influence and increase their earning potential?

While it can certainly be argued that celebrities don’t always reply, and that they may never acknowledge you as a follower, I feel that the strip may be a little too raw. Twitter has plenty to offer outside of celebrity-stalking (such as ex-stalking and spam-bots).

It seems as though nearly every magazine  is interested in Denis Zilber’s funny illustrations. He possesses an amazing talent for creating terrific caricatures. Every illustration has a story to tell, and the characters are so amazingly drawn that you just have to sit back and say “wow”.

Of course he has tons and tons of clients that are interested in working with him, and his projects have been published in magazines such as GQ and Blazer Magazine. He has also been featured in the UK Jewish Film Festival, marking him at his peak of popularity. The shadows, the angles, the lighting, the positions, the colors, etc. in his illustrations are perfect in every way.

We personally love every piece of his work, and many illustrators admire Zilber and his prodigious skills. Still, there are many other talented artists that provide very fun illustrations, like these “Stuff No One Told Me” images. Could you imagine what these ultra-cool illustrations would look like on the back of stamps or postcards. I bet they would fly off the shelves. Ok, tangent over. You know in life when there are things that you are used to but at the same time annoy you? Those things are exactly what artist Catrin Dulay has tried to express using illustrations with fun messages. The world would be so perfect if everybody had a pen, if all the machines accepted wrinkled dollar bills, that all stickers peel off clean, etc.

Illustrations with clever messages are used by other artists as well, like these guys that wanted to show how ironic life would be if everything was upside down in our lives.

The creative Italian artist Franco Brambilla has come up with the idea to use old vintage postcards and add images of alien invasions to them. The postcards are mostly from Switzerland, Milan and Santa Barbara, only now they have flying saucers, robots and aliens added.

They look a bit fearful but they are fun as well because the aliens melt in perfectly with the previous motive of the postcards.

Famous space ships from Star Wars are also invading these old vingate postcards

A similar thing has been done by artist John Lytle Wilson – he used old paintings and added robots and monkeys so it would appear more alive.
