Japanese farmers use rice fields to express their art

We have all heard about the crop circles and seen them on television, in movies, or maybe in real life, but in Japan you can see rice art on the fields. Every year Japanese farmers are planting rice in different patterns and using different sorts of rice for color. The result is spectacular pictures.

Unfortunately it’s only visible until the rice is harvested in September. Check out Rubik’s Cube Earth, made in Japan.

Don’t mess with milk farmers

Tons of milk being spilled on the streets could be seen outside the European Headquarters in Brussel on October 5, 2009. This was the result of a demonstration milk farmers from various European countries held against falling milk prices. The farmers are mostly from Germany, France and Belgium. During the protest a milk farmer sprayed the police with milk directly from a cows udder.

While farmers are using milk to protest, some other people in UK are using cheese to have fun!
