White tiger who loves to eat his meal underwater

This large male white Bengal tiger named Odin simply loves to dive underwater to fish out meat. The 10ft long cat is living at the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Zoo in Vallejo, near San Francisco. While most big cats wouldn’t like to even be near water, Odin enjoys every second of it while the zoo visitors are watching him through glass walls and taking photos.

His diving skill was discovered by his British trainer Lee Munro one day when a lump of meat fell into the pool and Odin gladly jumped after it. Sadly the Bengal white tiger is almost extinct, but you can find them at some zoos.

Photos are made by Fernando Pinto. Odin is not the only one that is trying to impress his audience at the zoo; these white wales are blowing bubbles under water to entertain.

Following its recent blockbuster TV ad for Smirnoff, advertising agency J. Walter Thompson (JWT) created a trio of ads to continue its “purity” theme. The agency selected Martin Waugh to create martini, highball and whiskey glasses out of water drops and splashes.

Photographer Sarah Lee is one of those young women who’s creativity started peaking at an early age. Currently 18, she’s attending Chapman University in Orange, California as a freshman. In this set of photos, she creates an underwater world that’s spectacularly colorful.

Compiling a list of underwater photographers just wouldn’t be right without mentioning Zena Holloway. Holloway creates a fantasy world a few of us have ever known, either above the sea or within it. Talk about an underwater fairy tale.

A self-taught photographic artist, Barbara Cole dropped out of high school and discovered what it was she wanted to do. She says photography found her, identified her and ultimately saved her. Cole recently shot a beautiful underwater spread for Anthropologie.

There’s no doubt that Elena Kalis has one of the most amazing underwater photo sets you’ve probably ever seen. This Russian photographer creates scenes that are at once light and playful and then dark and mysterious. The best part? She asks her own kids to be a part of the process.
