At first glance it looks like they’re putting real guns in their mouths, but in real life they are eating edible ice guns.

They all have different kinds of flavors–cola, cherry, licorice and black currant. They are an addition to the first 50 tinted ice guns that Florian Jenett and Valentin Beinroth made and placed in downtown Frankfurt a few years ago.

These edible eatables where exhibited at an art show called “Freeze Revisited”, and their existence certainly shocked a lot of people.

Several other artists have used weapons as their inspiration, like these fashionable guns and rifles made for artistic purposes.

American artist Chad Wys has expressed himself by adding his own art to already existing art pieces. His controversial art is featured by using tape and paint to “mess up” the original pieces.

Sculptures are in a way “brutalized” by colorful painting splashed all over them, and the paintings are also marked with tape or black paint so the whole object won’t show.It looks rather messy, but in the same way modern.

Another similar artistic act was done by covering random lightning city billboards with smashed mosquitoes.

10. Ducks tongue. This specialty is available in Hong Kong, and is often served with celery.

9. Worm-filled lollipops. These lollipops are filled with oatmeal worms and grasshoppers. You simply suck them out and eat them.

3. Seahorses on skewers. In China they deep fry these seahorses and put them on skewers for sale. They are considered as a delicacy because seahorses are rare to find.

2. Blood dishes. These bowls of raw blood are pretty common in Southeast Asia. The blood are usually from ducks or pigs and it can be eaten with different cooked entrails.

1. Guinea pig. During a pig festival in Peru, these guinea pigs are cooked. It is a traditional dish that goes way back to pre-Incas times.

Who would have known that one can use newspapers to create art? The inventive artist Nick Georgiou from Queens, NY, is folding different newspapers to create sculptures and other installations. The sculptures are usually placed in public so you may have seen them around in New York City, but some of his pieces are also for indoor exhibition like the ones he has framed in to look like paintings.

The artist himself loves to transform printed words into something else because he thinks it’s a way of giving new life to newspapers, as well as books.

While Georgiou is making sculptures out of newspaper, this other artist is using paper and carton to built a detailed apartment.

These 8-bit illustrations are made by artist and designer Jude Buffum from Philadelphia. He gets his inspiration from various old school movies, video games, toys and politics.

Jude named this piece “Mushroom Recession” with most popular 8-bit character Super Mario.
