Ultra realistic paintings on the wall

August 27, 2009 By ThisBlogRules 102 Comments

realisticwalldrawings_09 Passing by these amazing 3D paintings will make you almost believe that there are real people standing by the wall. The paintings are made in such a way that you would probably try to touch the girl that’s leaning on the wall or maybe the old lady that’s resting, because they seem so realistic. The most surprising thing is that the artist is only using his bare hands and painting to make such tremendous art happen.

realisticwalldrawings_11 realisticwalldrawings_08 realisticwalldrawings_07 realisticwalldrawings_06 realisticwalldrawings_05 realisticwalldrawings_02 realisticwalldrawings_01You will never think that these human bodies and faces aren’t real, amazing realistic and shocking sculptures.

Painting realistically from photos is no big whoop, as my work attests, higden.net. But David Jon Kassen draws and paints from life. Amazing. He’s modest and generous. He travels the world teaching workshops sharing his gifts. The painting of the young man is a self portrait.
